Saturday, April 23rd: 9am – 12pm, neighborhood-wide cleanup.

Spring cleaning time!  Neighbors, we will be cleaning our entire neighborhood including a few hotspots that need a little extra sprucing up.

WE NEED 10 MORE VOLUNTEERS, so if you have 1-3 hrs. to spare on the 23rd, please send us an email—thank you. A light breakfast and supplies will be provided.

We will meet at the dead-end of Osceola St. (close to the river—back of neighborhood).

Sunday, April 24th: Urban Wild @ Austin Rock Spruce Up – 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Calling any volunteers willing to contribute one hour work (or whatever you wish) at the Austin-West Rock Urban Wild site.  If not familiar, the site is located at the intersection of West and Austin Streets exactly.  It is next to the large STOP sign at the bottom of the West Street hill after passing the George C Wright golf course.

  • Please bring your own gloves and rakes.
  • Bags will be provided.
  • All refuse will be picked up by Boston Parks and Recreation, Urban Wilds.
  • The site was recently renovated about 2 years ago and new plantings are established well. The maintenance work to be done includes light trash removal and some dead leaf and light limb to allow new growth to thrive.

Many thanks! Any questions please contact, Lynda @ 617-9212-6403.
